A Community Celebration of 100 Years of Hope.
Every dollar donated will supply the Chilliwack Salvation Army with $2-$3 worth of buying power for food, clothing, supplies and important social service programs.
Here’s how your generous contributions will help support our community through this partnership:
Food Purchasing – The demand at the Food Bank has surged by over 40% in the past year. With your support, we will be able to purchase food to meet this growing need. A key focus will be increasing our supply of fresh produce for "The Pantry," the free grocery store that feeds over 4,000 families each month.
Facility Maintenance & Equipment – The current facilities, which have served the community for over 40 years, are feeling the strain of heavy use. These funds will go toward essential building repairs and maintenance, as well as replacing outdated equipment, including two new forklifts for our warehouses.
Expanding Family Services – Beyond food security, we aim to offer holistic support to Food Bank families. This may include services such as counselling, parental support, financial guidance, and youth programs.
